The Rector of Thamar University Chairs an Expanded Preparatory Meeting for the College of Medical Sciences conference

■ Within the framework of the ongoing preparations for holding the first medical conference of the Faculty of Medical Sciences at Thamar University, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Al-Haifi, the Rector of the University and Chairman of the Supreme Supervisory Committee of the conference, chaired this morning an expanded meeting that included members of the Supervisory Committee and the executive and organizational committees.

During the meeting, the University Rector, along with his deputies, Prof. Dr. Abdulkarim Zabiba, the Vice-Rector of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, the Vice-Rector of the University for Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Adel Abdulghani Al-Ansi, the Vice-Rector of the University for Academic Affairs, as well as Dr. Mohammed Hutram, the General Secretary of the University, reviewed the level of achievement in the tasks of the various committees and the extent of readiness for holding the conference.

At the meeting, the University Rector heard a detailed presentation from Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Haifi, the Deputy Dean of the College of Medical Sciences, in the presence of the Dean of the College, Dr. Adel Emran, in which he spoke about the final preparations and the organizational and technical arrangements that have been accomplished.

The meeting was attended by a number of deputy deans, Ahmed Al-Mujahed, the General Secretary of the College, a number of heads of scientific departments, and members of subcommittees who confirmed their readiness and full readiness to make the conference activities a success.
