Thamar University Student Affairs Council Holds its Third Meeting for the Year 1448

■ In light of the directives of Professor Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Al-Haifi, the Rector of Thamar University, regarding the regularity of periodic meetings of university councils and strengthening their role in monitoring academic matters, the University Student Affairs Council held its third periodic meeting for the academic year 1448.

The meeting was chaired by Professor Dr. Abdulkafi Abdulfattah Al-Rifai, the Vice-Rector of the University for Student Affairs. The council reviewed the level of lecture delivery and adherence to the academic schedule, discussed addressing any shortcomings, and corrected the names and titles of several students and graduates.

The council, meeting at the Vice Presidency for Student Affairs, discussed and approved the minutes of its previous meeting held on 28 Safar 1448 (August 11, 2026). It also reviewed the commitment of the colleges, the Institute of Continuing Education, and the Computer and Information Center to delivering the scheduled lectures during the first semester, emphasizing the importance of adhering to the academic schedule and ensuring the smooth operation of the educational process according to the approved timelines.

Furthermore, the council considered memoranda submitted by various colleges regarding the correction of data for a number of students and graduates. It approved the correction of their names and titles based on official documents and approvals from the college councils, thus ensuring the accuracy of data in official academic records.
