■ The Rector of Thamar University, Professor Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Hassan Al-Haifi, commended today the level of preparations undertaken by the Student Affairs Office to complete the admissions and placement exams for the new academic year in the remaining medical and applied colleges. This came during an inspection visit he made to the office to review the progress of work and assess the level of technical and administrative readiness

■ As a part of the ongoing monitoring of university performance, Professor Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Hassan Al-Haifi, the Rector of Thamar University, inspected the Student Affairs Office this morning. He met with Professor Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, the Vice-Rector of the University for Student Affairs, and discussed with him a number of issues and topics related to completing the coordination, admission, and registration procedures for the academic year 1448, and the level of achievement in the various tasks and services provided to students

The meeting was chaired by the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Abdulkafi Abdulfattah Al-Rifai, who also serves as the Council's Chairman, and attended by the Council members
