The Council of Student Affairs Holds its Second Meeting for the Academic Year 1445 Thamar University Media / Jamal Al-Bahri / December 4, 2023 ■The Council of Student Affairs at the University held today its second meeting chaired by the Vice-Rector of the University for Student Affairs Prof. Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai. The meeting discussed various student topics that were raised by the colleges and came up with the necessary recommendations and appropriate solutions related to student issues. It is noteworthy that this meeting comes within the periodic meetings held by the Council of Student Affairs according to the task schedule of the Councils at the University in order to ensure the speed of discussion of topics related to Student Affairs monthly without delay, and the Council approved the need for the presence of the Director of the Automation Unit at the University as most of the solutions to the issues on the agenda of the Council are related to the tasks of the Automation Unit. The Council of Student Affairs is of a great importance at the University as it represents the voice of students, works to develop and improve the Educational environment and student life, and is a means of constructive communication between students and the University Administration to ensure that students' needs, Academic Requirements, and those related to student activities are met. The efforts of the Council reflect the University's commitment to providing a distinguished Educational experience, supporting student development, and achieving their Academic and Cultural goals. The meeting was attended by the Deputy Deans of the Colleges for Student Affairs, members of the Council, and the General Director of Admission and Registration, Mr. Abdulmalik Al-Mualimi.
