The Rector of Thamar University Commends Student Affairs' Preparations for Completing Admissions and Placement Exams for Medical and Applied Colleges

■ The Rector of Thamar University, Professor Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Hassan Al-Haifi, commended today the level of preparations undertaken by the Student Affairs Office to complete the admissions and placement exams for the new academic year in the remaining medical and applied colleges. This came during an inspection visit he made to the office to review the progress of work and assess the level of technical and administrative readiness.
The Unversity Rector was accompanied on the visit by the Rector's Assistant for Centers Affairs, Professor Dr. Essam Wasel, the Head of Media and Public Relations Department, Jamal Al-Bahri, and a number of university leaders and staff.
They were received by the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Abdulkafi Abdulfattah Al-Rifai, the Registrar, Abdulmalik Al-Mualemi, the General Director of Student Services, Abdulhamid Al-Nimr, and a number of leaders from the Student Affairs Office.
During the visit, an expanded meeting was held to discuss several student-related issues, most notably the results of the mock exams organized by the University Student Forum for applicants to applied colleges.
The meeting also addressed the level of technical and administrative preparations for the entrance exams scheduled to begin early next week at the College of Medical Sciences. The meeting was attended by Dr. Salah Al-Qawsi, the Vice Dean of the Institute of Continuing Education for Student Affairs, and Majid Al-Washli, the Generak Director of the University Rector's Office.
The University Rector commended the early preparations and comprehensive arrangements for the successful conduct of the entrance exams, ensuring transparency and equal opportunities for all applicants. He emphasized the need for integrated efforts from various administrative and technical units and the provision of a suitable organizational environment to deliver high-quality services that meet the university's aspirations for enhanced institutional performance and improved educational quality.
From his part, the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs reviewed the key procedures and arrangements implemented for receiving students and organizing the exams. He affirmed the Vice Presidency's readiness to complete the various tasks according to the approved plans, achieving the highest levels of accuracy and organization.
