The Rector of Thamar University Launches Mock Exams and Remedial Course for Applied College Students in Preparation for Entrance Exams

■ Professor Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Hassan Al-Haifi, the Rector of Thamar University, launched today the mock exams organized by the University Student Forum, following the remedial course for students applying to applied colleges. This initiative reflects the university's and the forum's commitment to supporting students, preparing them to pass entrance exams and enhancing their academic readiness.

The launch was attended by the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Abdulkafi Abdulfattah Al-Rifai, the Rector's Assistant for Centers Affairs, Professor Dr. Essam Wasel, the Head of Media and Public Relations Department, Jamal Al-Bahri, the Head of the University Student Forum, Mohammed Bajah, as well as a number of university leaders, staff members and forum members.

The preparatory course and mock exam targeted approximately 600 students applying to applied colleges, including the Colleges of Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology, and Administrative Sciences. The week-long course included an intensive academic program in the core subjects of the entrance exams: mathematics, Arabic, English, and physics. The purpose of the mock exams was to assess students' readiness and enhance their preparedness before the entrance exams administered by the Deanship of Student Affairs.

During the launch, the University Rector commended the efforts of the University Student Forum in implementing programs and activities aimed at serving students. He praised its role in organizing the preparatory course and mock exam preparation, which contributes to preparing applicants and increasing their chances of success in the entrance exams.

From his part, the Head of the University Student Forum, Mohammed Bajah, expressed his gratitude to the University Rector and his Deputy for Student Affairs for their attention to and support of the forum's activities, and for their ongoing support which contributes to the implementation of purposeful student programs and initiatives. He emphasized that the preparatory course is part of the forum's efforts to support students and prepare them to pass entrance exams and achieve the best possible results.
