■ In fulfillment of its responsibility to support students enrolled at Thamar University, the Student Affairs Council held its seventh meeting under the auspices of Professor Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Hassan Al-Haifi, the University Rector, and chaired by Professor Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and the Head of the Council.

Council members were also present. The meeting addressed a range of issues related to academic progress and student services, reflecting the university's commitment to developing the learning environment and enhancing student stability.

The Council began its proceedings by reviewing and approving the minutes of the sixth meeting, including previous decisions and recommendations.

The Council discussed several requests submitted by students from various faculties regarding the correction of their personal data. Each case was reviewed individually, based on official documents and established legal procedures, to ensure the preservation of students' rights, the integrity of their academic records, and the accuracy of the data held by the university.

The meeting also addressed the situation of several male and female students whose enrollment had been suspended under the old system in previous years, but who have since returned to complete their studies under the new system. The council discussed appropriate ways to address their academic situations and enable them to continue their education while adhering to applicable regulations and legal procedures.

In the same vein, the council reviewed requests submitted by some colleges concerning students who had encountered difficulties in their studies due to various circumstances. The possibility of granting these students a final opportunity to fulfill their graduation requirements was explored, based on the university's humanitarian and educational principles.

The council also discussed the admission of students returning from Syria who had not completed their studies and were forced to return due to the war and instability. The council emphasized the importance of providing them with the necessary support and integrating them into the university environment to enable them to continue their university education, thus embodying the mission of Thamar University.

The meeting concluded with an emphasis on continuing to work with a spirit of responsibility and teamwork during the coordination and admissions process for the academic year 1448.
