The Student Affairs Office at Thamar University Reviews the Results of its Participation in the Closure Committee Meeting at the Ministry of Education

■ This morning, the Student Affairs Office at Thamar University held an extraordinary meeting of the Student Affairs Council, under the auspices of Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi, the University Rector, and chaired by Professor Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and the Head of the Council. Thr Registrar, Abdulmalik Al-Muallami and members of the Council were also in attendance.
The meeting which focused on evaluating the recommendations and mechanisms outlined in the agenda, specifically addressed the results of the Student Affairs Office's participation, represented by Deputy Dr. Al-Rifai, the Registrar, and several staff members and technicians, in the Closure Committee meeting at the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research.
The meeting commended the experiences presented by Thamar University at the ministerial meeting, considering the practices and procedures presented a model to be emulated in the field of student welfare. It also emphasized that the recommendations of the closure committee, which recommended honoring the Vice Deanship of Student Affairs, represent recognition of the university's efforts in developing institutional work.
At the conclusion of the session, the meeting issued practical recommendations to strengthen coordination channels with higher education institutions and to formulate initiatives that enhance the student environment and academic administration at Thamar University. This step embodies the university's ongoing commitment to improving the quality of services provided to enrolled students and supporting educational development.
