Thamar University's Faculty of Computer Science Wins the Martyr Al-Ghumari Volleyball Tournament

■ Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Hassan Al-Haifi, the Rector of Thamar University, and the supervision of Professor Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, and in the presence of several university leaders, the university's stadium hosted the final volleyball match this morning, as part of the 1447, academic year's sports activities, within the framework of the Martyr Al-Ghumari Tournament.
The tournament witnessed an enthusiastic and exciting finale, represented by the final match between the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Computer Science and Informatics. The Faculty of Computer Science and Informatics team continued its remarkable performance and succeeded in winning the match in three sets, in a game characterized by strength, excitement, and high competitiveness.
The players of both teams delivered outstanding performances, reflecting the advanced technical and athletic level of the students at Thamar University. The match, which drew enthusiastic crowds, concluded with enjoyable displays of football that embodied the spirit of fair play and teamwork.
The event was attended by Professor Dr. Bashir Al-Maqaleh, the Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science and Informatics, Dr. Khalid Al-Shuraim, the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Yahya Al-Thumrani, the Consultant of the University Rector, Ahmed Al-Awmari, the General Director of Student Activities, Ali Al-Thumrani, the General Secretary of the Faculty of Engineering, and Ahmed Rabid, the General Secretary of the Computer Center.
