Thamar University Witnesses Exciting Matches in the Martyr Al-Ghumari Championship Semifinals

■ Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Hassan Al-Haifi, the Rector of Thamar University, and the supervision of Professor Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, and in the presence of a number of university leaders, deans of faculties, and general secretaries, the university stadium hosted intense matches this morning as part of the 1447, academic year's sports activities, within the framework of the Martyr Al-Ghumari Championship.
The football matches witnessed outstanding performances and high levels of skill. The Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology team achieved a well-deserved victory over the Faculty of Administrative Sciences with a score of two goals to nil in a match characterized by strength and positive competition. Meanwhile, the Faculty of Engineering team asserted its complete dominance and triumphed over the Faculty of Agriculture with a score of five goals to one, thus securing the two winning teams their places in the final match.
In volleyball, the tournament venue hosted the semi-final matches. The Faculty of Computer Science and Informatics team continued its winning streak with a clean sweep against the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, winning two sets to none. The Faculty of Engineering team also triumphed over the Faculty of Medicine team by the same score.
The matches were attended by Professor Dr. Bashir Al-Maqalih, the Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science and Informatics, Dr. Abdulghani Al-Yahiri, the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine, Ahmed Al-Awmari, the General Director of University Activities, Mr. Bandar Al-Duhmali, the General Secretary of the Faculty of Computer Science, Mr. Ahmed Rubaid, the General Secretary of the Computer Center, and Mr. Bassam Al-Wasabi, the General Secretary of the Faculty of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine.
