Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine Qualify for Football Semifinals and Medicine Wins Volleyball Match Against Sharia in Al-Ghumari Championship at Thamar University

■ Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Hassan Al-Haifi, The Rector of Thamar University, and the supervision of Professor Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, and in the presence of a number of university leaders, deans of faculties, and secretaries-general, the university stadium today hosted intense sporting matches as part of the 1447 academic year's sports activities, within the framework of the Martyr Al-Ghumari Championship.

The football match witnessed a distinguished performance and clear dominance by the Faculty of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine team, which imposed its control over the course of the match and succeeded in securing a 3-0 victory against the Faculty of Sharia and Law team. Despite the loss, the Sharia team put on a competitive performance, but their offensive efficiency and tactical discipline proved decisive for the Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine team, securing their well-deserved place in the semi-finals.

Meanwhile, the volleyball court hosted the quarter-final match between the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Sharia and Law. The Medicine team asserted their technical superiority, winning the match in straight sets and demonstrating their readiness for the advanced stages of the tournament.

These competitions reflect the university's commitment to promoting student sports activities, fostering a spirit of positive competition and teamwork, contributing to the development of well-rounded university students, and supporting athletic activity on campus.
