■ In an enthusiastic and competitive sporting atmosphere, Thamar University Stadium witnessed intense football matches as part of the Martyr Al-Ghumari Football Championship. The championship was held under the patronage of Professor Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Hassan Al-Haifi, the Rector of Thamar University, and in the presence of Professor Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, and Ahmed Al-Awamri, the General Director of Activities.

This reflects the university leadership's commitment to promoting sports activities and fostering a spirit of positive competition among students.

The third day of the championship kicked off with a match between the Faculty of Dentistry team and the Faculty of Education team. Both teams delivered outstanding performances, with the Faculty of Dentistry ultimately securing a well-deserved 4-1 victory. The match, which was attended by the General Secretary of the Faculty of Dentistry, showcased the winning team's technical and physical readiness.

In the second match, attended by the Dean of the College of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Abdulghani Al-Yahiri, the College's General Secretary, and several other faculty members, the College of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine team faced the College of Medicine team in a hard-fought and competitive encounter. The Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine team dominated, securing a resounding 6-1 victory, thus confirming their strong presence in the tournament and their continued progress.

The tournament matches were characterized by excitement from the opening whistle, with students displaying high levels of skill and outstanding sportsmanship. In volleyball, the College of Dentistry team continued its impressive performance, achieving a significant victory over the College of Education team with a score of two sets to none.
