Thamar University Student Affairs Council Holds its Fourth Meeting and Approves Several Student-Related Matters

■ The Student Affairs Council, under the supervision of Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi, the Rector of Thamar University, held its regular meeting this morning, chaired by the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai.

The meeting addressed several student related issues and files submitted by the university's colleges and institutes, pertaining to enrollment, registration, graduation and the regularization of students' academic status at various levels.

At the beginning of the session, the council approved the minutes of the previous meeting before moving on to discuss requests concerning the regularization of students from previous years, including course credits and the documentation of results for past academic years. The council approved appropriate solutions in accordance with applicable academic regulations.

The council also reviewed memoranda received from the College of Administrative Sciences and the College of Engineering regarding several studen related matters requiring review and approval, and took the necessary actions in accordance with regulations and legal frameworks.

The council also discussed several other matters submitted by the university's various colleges, including requests for additional study opportunities and the regularization of some students' academic statuses. The council made the necessary decisions in accordance with university regulations and the specific requirements of each case.

The council, which included the vice deans for student affairs, concluded its meeting by discussing a memorandum submitted by the Institute of Continuing Education regarding the status of students in professional programs. The council approved the procedures required to finalize their paperwork, ensuring their compliance with the legal requirements and regulations for graduation.
