The Rector of Thamar University Inspects the Progress of the Competitive Exam Preparations at the Student Affairs Office

■ The Student Affairs Office witnessed a field inspection visit by the University Rector, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Hassan Al-Haifi.

During the visit, he met with Prof. Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, the General Registrar, the General Director of Medical Services, and a number of financial and administrative leaders from the Office.

During the meeting, the University Rector reviewed the ongoing arrangements for announcing the competitive exam results for private-fund students at the College of Medicine for the academic year 1447.

He praised the accuracy and transparency in announcing the results, which enhances the confidence of students and parents in the academic procedures followed.

The University Rector also reviewed the technical and logistical readiness for conducting a series of competitive exams throughout this week, noting that the university has completed its preparations to receive thousands of applicants to various colleges within a competitive process based on clear criteria and equal opportunities.

Dr. Al-Rifai indicated that the College of Medicine (privately funded) exam was completed today followed tomorrow by the College of Dentistry (parallel) followed on Monday by the College of Medical Sciences (general system) and on Wednesday by the College of Computer Science (general system).

He emphasized that the relevant committees are ready at the organizational, security and technical levels to ensure the success of the process.

The University Rector was accompanied on his tour by the head of the Media and Public Relations Department and the General Director of the University Rector's Office, in the presence of a number of leaders and specialists in administrative and financial aspects of the Student Affairs Office.
