Thamar University Organizes a Mock Exam for Applicants to its Applied Colleges and Prepares for Next Week's Exams

■ Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi, the Rector of Thamar University, and as a part of the university's efforts to enhance student preparedness, the University Student Forum organized a mock exam for students applying for admission and competition in the colleges of Computer Science and Informatics, Engineering and Administrative Sciences.

The exam was attended and supervised by the University Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, who praised the University Student Forum's initiatives and its commitment to providing quality services to university students. The mock exams were also attended by the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Informatics, Prof. Dr. Bashir Al-Maqalih, the Dean of the College of Administrative Sciences, Prof. Dr. Amal Al-Mujahid, and the Secretary-General of the College of Administrative Sciences, Mr. Abdullah Rajeh, along with representatives of the University Student Forum.

The halls and amphitheaters of the College of Administrative Sciences hosted the test, which was attended by approximately 600 students. The students participated in a free training course organized by the University Student Forum, held in the Al-Quds and May 22 halls at the Faculties of Education and Sharia and Law.

The course aimed to enhance the competency of those competing for seats in the applied colleges at Thamar University and prepare them to pass the official competitive exams scheduled for the coming weeks. The test questions covered mathematics, Arabic, English and physics in an environment that mimics the environment of official university exams.

In a related context, the University Vice-Rector, Prof. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, along with General Registrar, Mr.Abdulmalik Al-Mualimi, inspected the progress of the trial exam marking process. He praised the efforts of the specialized team in preparing the lists of winners of seats in the Faculty of Medicine under the private-study system, as well as their electronic university cards. He also noted the lists of those accepted under the free-study system and their approved electronic cards.

Dr. Al-Rifai also checked on the technical and logistical readiness for the competitive exams, confirming that preparations are complete for a series of competitive exams next week.

These include the Faculty of Medicine (private) exam on Saturday, the Faculty of Dentistry (parallel) exam on Sunday, the Faculty of Medical Sciences (general system) exam on Monday, and the Faculty of Computer Science (general system) exam on Wednesday. These tests are a part of a strict coordination plan implemented by the university to ensure a smooth and fair process for all applicants.
