Issuing ID Cards from Thamar University Campus

■ In a move to strengthen partnerships with community service institutions, the service of issuing ID cards for university students was launched at Thamar University this morning in cooperation with the Civil Status and Civil Registry branch in the governorate. This service aims to facilitate official transactions for students and provide vital services on campus.
The card issuance process was launched under the patronage of Professor Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Hassan Al-Haifi, the Rector of Thamar University, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs.
The event was held in active partnership with Colonel, Mr. Abdulkarim Al-Bukhaiti, the General Director of the Civil Status Department in Dhamar, and was attended by a number of academic and administrative leaders, giving the event a highly formal and organizational character.
The Civil Status Department's investigation team led by Team Leader Mr. Bashir Salah Al-Munifi, began its work today. The team also received students, submitted forms, recorded data and completed the necessary legal and official procedures for obtaining ID cards in cooperation and coordination with the University's Student Affairs Prosecution.
In the presence of the University's General Registrar, Mr. Abdulmalik Al-Mualimi, the General Director of Medical Services, Mr. Abdulhamid Al-Namer, and the General Director of Public Relations, Mr. Khalid Al-Eshawi, everyone emphasized the importance of this service which represents a qualitative addition to the university's service transformation process and alleviates students' commuting and waiting times.
A number of students expressed their satisfaction and happiness with the availability of this service on campus, considering it as a pioneering step that reflects the university leadership's genuine interest and commitment to overcoming difficulties for students, especially during this sensitive stage of the coordination and registration procedures for the new academic year.
This launch is apart of a series of services the university is striving to provide with the goal of improving the student environment and facilitating official transactions. This is in line with the university's drive to consolidate the concept of a productive, service-oriented university and enhance administrative and organizational performance to serve university students.
