The Rector of Thamar University Visits Student Affairs and Inspects Progress of Comprehensive Coordination and Admission Automation

■ On a field tour to monitor the digital transformation and assess system readiness, Professor Mohammed Al-Haifi, the Rector of Thamar University, inspected the Student Affairs Office at the university.
He was briefed on the progress of the coordination, registration and admission processes for the new academic year and the effectiveness of the organizational and technical procedures followed in this vital context.
He was received by Professor Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, th Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, and the General Registrar, Mr. Abdulmalik Al-Muallimi. An expanded meeting was held during which attendees discussed a number of key issues related to coordination, comparison and the readiness of electronic systems. They also discussed the necessary updates to ensure the smooth, accurate and efficient continuity of services.
During the meeting, the University Rector emphasized the importance of activating ongoing coordination between the Student Affairs Office and the Media and Public Relations Department.
This ensures that students and those interested in enrolling at the university are kept informed of all procedures, steps and instructions related to all stages of registration and admission, enhancing transparency and communication with the community and those joining the university.
The meeting also addressed the importance of enhancing communication and integration between the Student Affairs Office and the University's Automation and Information Systems Unit, as the entity responsible for electronic networking and ensuring the compatibility and interconnection of various systems.
This is particularly true in light of the university's relentless drive toward comprehensive automation of all stages of coordination, admission and comparison procedures.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Jamal Al-Bahri, the Head of the Media and Public Relations Department, and Mr. Mohammed Al-Ziyadi, the General Director of the University's Automation Unit.
