Thamar University Student Affairs Council Discusses Automating Coordination and Admission Procedures for the Academic Year 1447

■ As a part of the drive to develop the administrative structure and promote digital transformation in student services, the Student Affairs Council at Thamar University discussed, in its seventh regular meeting, the directives issued by Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi, the Rector of the University, regarding the automation of all coordination and admission procedures for the academic year 1447, and full networking with relevant entities, most notably the Ministries of Education and Scientific Research and Finance.
The meeting, chaired by Professor Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, and attended by members of the Council and the Registrar, discussed the outcomes of the meeting held with the University Rector earlier this week regarding enhancing coordination with relevant government agencies.
The Council also discussed the results of ongoing consultative engagement with representatives of the Ministries of Education and Scientific Research and Finance, as well as the outcomes of a meeting with the Director of CAC Bank in Dhamar, which aimed to facilitate financial and administrative procedures related to coordination and admissions.
The meeting also addressed a number of priority student issues, as a part of the university's efforts to improve the quality of academic and administrative services provided to students and develop the university system to keep pace with modern technological developments.
