Thamar University Moves Towards Central Networking and Comprehensive Financial Automation

■ In a move that reflects Thamar University's commitment to developing its administrative and financial structure, modernizing its systems and improving work mechanisms in Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi, the Rector of the University, held an important meeting this morning with the University Vice-Rector.
The meeting included his Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Abdulkafi al-Rifai, and the University Registrar, Abdulmalik Al-Muallimi, as well as a number of staff from the Student Affairs Vice Rector's Office.
The meeting, which focused primarily on the progress of the coordination and admissions process for the new academic year, reviewed the overall procedures undertaken during the first phase of coordination, as well as addressing a number of challenges and obstacles, particularly those related to the process of linking the unified coordination system with the central financial system.
In this context, Dr. Al-Rifai gave a detailed presentation to the University Rector, highlighting the technical challenges that accompanied the integration of the internal and central coordination systems.
He noted that unified coordination represents a qualitative shift in institutional work, but requires technical and administrative integration to ensure smooth procedures and facilitate student admission to the university's various colleges.
The meeting was also attended by the Financial Director of the Student Affairs Office, as well as the Representatives from CAC Bank, who provided a detailed explanation of the electronic payment mechanism through the bank.
They highlighted the achievements made to successfully integrate the university's financial system with CAC Bank's system and the Ministry of Finance's central financial system.
It was emphasized that this step represents a significant accomplishment that paves the way for the implementation of a comprehensive automated payment system that helps reduce human intervention and ensures the highest levels of transparency and ease for students.
At the conclusion of the meeting, which was attended by Mr. Jamal Al-Bahri, the Head of the Media and Public Relations Department, and Mr. Khaled Al-Ashawi, the General Director of Public Relations.
The University Rector commended the efforts made by the Student Affairs Office and its staff, emphasizing the importance of concerted efforts to ensure the success of the coordination and admissions process and to provide a smoother and more organized university experience for university students.
