Thamar University Takes the Lead in the Third Scientific Competition for Yemeni Universities

■ In a grand ceremony organized by the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research, in the capital Sana'a, Thamar University was crowned champion of the third scientific competition for students of Yemeni Public and Private universities, after achieving exceptional achievements in the fields of medicine and engineering, thus charting a new path for academic and scientific excellence.
In the presence of Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi, the Rector of Thamar University, and Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, the Vice-Rector of the University for Student Affairs, the Deputy Minister of Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Hatem Al-Dais, and the Undersecretary of the Ministry for Planning Affairs, Elham Al-Sanbani, honored Thamar University with the first places in the cultural competition for Yemeni universities, where the Faculty of Medicine at Thamar University won first place at the level of Yemeni universities, confirming the quality of its educational programs and the excellence of its students.
The students of the Civil Engineering Department also achieved second place, while the Department of Architecture came in fifth place, honoring Thamar University with several places on the coronation platform.
The ceremony witnessed a remarkable presence of academic and ministerial leaders where the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Abdullah Al-Murtadha, and the General Secretary of the University, Dr. Mohammed Hutram, participated in the honoring ceremony and stressing the importance of these competitions in refining students' skills and enhancing competitiveness among universities.
The University Rector explained that this achievement is the result of the efforts of a dedicated team and hardworking students who believe in the message of science as a tool for renaissance. Their efforts have borne fruit, enabling Thamar University to compete in various fields in the scientific competition alongside more than 25 Yemeni Public and Private Universities.
