Thamar University witnesses a distinctive competitive atmosphere in the cultural competition between colleges

■ Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi, the Rector of Thamar University and within the series of cultural, sports and scientific student activities conducted by the Vice Deanship of Student Affairs at the university, the cultural competition was held today in the Central Library on the University Campus between a number of colleges at Thamar University.
The competition was attended by the Colleges of Education, Medical Sciences, Medicine, and Computers and Informatics, under the supervision of the Vice-Rector of the University for Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, and the presence of theGeneral Director of Youth Care, Ahmed Al-Aomari, in addition to the arbitration committee that included the University Rector's Consultant for Cultural Affairs, Hassan Al-Mawshki, and Dr. Bashir Zendal.
The event also witnessed a remarkable presence of a number of university leaders and college leaders, including Dr. Salah Al-Qawsi, in addition to a number of specialists and those interested in cultural and educational affairs.
The competition included multiple competitive rounds between teams, during which students' skills and intellectual and cognitive abilities in various fields were highlighted.
The competition ended with the College of Computers and Informatics achieving first place, while the Colleges of Medicine and Medical Sciences won second place and the College of Education came in third place.
This event comes within the university's vision to enhance cultural interaction and develop the spirit of creativity and excellence among students, in addition to providing an educational environment that encourages fair competition and teamwork.
At the conclusion of the competition, Dr. Al-Rifai praised the level of organization and the high competitive spirit that prevailed in the atmosphere of the event and stressed the importance of such activities in building the personality of the university student and developing his skills and motivating him towards more achievement and creativity.
