Thamar University inaugurates sports activities for the academic year 1446 with a poetry morning

■ Under the slogan "You are not alone" and under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Al-Haifi, the Rector of Thamar University, the Central Library at Thamar University hosted today a creative poetry morning organized by the Vice-Presidency of Thamar University for Student Affairs and the University Student Forum on the occasion of the first anniversary of the blessed "Al-Aqsa Flood" operation.
On the occasion, in which a group of poets from Thamar University recited their national and revolutionary poems, Dr. Al-Haifi stressed the need to receive and encourage such creative and talented people in various cultural, sports, scientific and professional fields.
He pointed out the importance of deans of colleges adopting talented people at the University, especially among new students, and working to discover and refine talents, with the need to conduct creative eliminations at the level of each college in various skills, after which a final elimination is conducted at the University level, until distinguished ideal teams are produced that represent the University at the national level.
From his part, Prof. Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, the Vice-Rector of the University for Student Affairs, confirmed that this distinctive revolutionary poetry morning comes within the framework of launching student activities for the new academic year 1446. Dr. Al-Rifai pointed out that the Student Affairs Office, represented by the General Administration of Activities, is ready and fully prepared to receive creative University students and talented newcomers in various activities at the University.
The event was attended by Prof. Dr. Abdulkarim Zabiba, the Vice-Rector of the University for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, and Prof. Dr. Adel Abdulghani Al-Ansi, the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs. The Supervisory Committee and the Arbitration Committee were represented by Prof. Abdulkarim Al-Bahla, Dr. Abdullah Asbah, Dr. Essam Wasil, Hassan Al-Moshki, and Ahmed Al-Omari.
