An awareness-raising inspection visit to the students of the Faculty of Engineering at Thamar University Thamar University Media/Jamal Al-Bahri / Rajab 18, 1445 AH. January 28, 2024 ■ In continuation of the awareness and cultural events held by Thamar University under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi, the Rector of Thamar University within the framework of the "Al-Aqsa Flood" events, Prof. Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, Vice-Rector of the University for Student Affairs, paid an inspection visit to a number of final examination halls for the first semester at the College of Engineering, wishing success to the examinees. During the visit, in which he was accompanied by the General Secartary of the University, Dr. Mohammed Hutram, the General Director of the Media, the General Secretary of the College of Engineering, Ali AlDhumrani, a number of its Cadres, and the Official of the University Student Forum, Dr. Al-Rifai urged the students of the College of Engineering to diligence, increased vigilance and caution against the plots being hatched against our country. He urged them to take the initiative and interact in attending events, courses, awareness-raising and educational workshops aimed at raising awareness among University students, raising the level of their culture and their adherence to the principles and ethics of our true Islamic religion. Dr. Al-Rifai also touched upon the oppression of the Palestinian people who are being brutally murdered by Zionism, its printed supporters and the dark forces, without scruples of religion or humanity, warning against giving up and complacency in Islamic values and holy sites. He stressed that cohesion and preservation of our values and sanctities is what makes us stronger, dear, invulnerable and able to face our enemy.
