Thamar University witnesses success in Al-Aqsa Flood sports activities

■ Under the guidance and patronage of Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi, the Rector of Thamar University, the General Directorate of Activities in the Vice-Presidency of Student Affairs continues under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai in organizing a set of outstanding cultural and sports activities within the framework of the academic year 1445, 2023-2024.

The University has achieved great success in organizing and holding a series of special sports matches which are still ongoing on a daily basis within the Thamar University Campus and in the Capital Sana'a.

And in the football match, the Faculty of Administrative Sciences managed to beat the Faculty of Dentistry with a score of 3-1 in the first group qualifiers.

This match expressed the strength and skill of the two teams, as the students gave exceptional performances and great performances on the field.

In the other sports arena, the Faculty of Engineering overwhelmingly defeated the Institute of Continuing Education with a score of 2-0 in a volleyball match within the first group qualifiers. In the second group qualifiers, the Faculty of Dentistry beat the Faculty of Medical Sciences by a score of 2-0, thus confirming its superiority and its skill in volleyball.

These results come as a result of the continuous efforts exerted by the leaders of Thamar University to enhance the sports activities that come this year under the title of Al-Aqsa Flood and also reflect the high spirit of competition and the enthusiastic sports spirit enjoyed by students at Thamar University.
