.The Rector of the University looks at the paintings in the Student Affairs building

■ The Rector of Thamar University, professor Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Al-Haifi, and his Deputy for student affairs, professor Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, reviewed today the winning paintings in the "Al-Aqsa Flood" competition at the Student Affairs building which Thamar University will participate in the annual competition held by the Ministry of Higher Education in the Capital Secretariat.
The paintings included expressive images of the events and circumstances of the Battle of Al-Aqsa Flood, both humanly and militarily, such as the achievements of the Palestinian resistance on the ground, the massacres committed by the Zionist enemy against civilians in Gaza, especially children and women, its bombing, targeting hospitals and media cadres.
The Rector of the University stressed that these works of Fine Art come within the framework of Thamar University's continued support for the Palestinian cause as the central issue of the Yemeni people.
He pointed out that Thamar University continues to hold events, marches, stops, exhibitions, cultural and sports activities, and the continuation of the path of construction and rehabilitation of volunteers under the slogan "Al-Aqsa Flood" as an expression of solidarity and support for the Palestinian people and in preparation for fighting the holy jihad battle against the criminal Zionist entity.
The Vice-Rector of the University for Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai pointed out the importance of plastic art in supporting the Battle of the Al-Aqsa Flood, renewing the national spirit, continuing to support the central cause, harnessing the potential of plastic artists for the Palestinian cause and depicting what is happening through their art and vision.
The visit was accompanied by the General Secartary of the University, Dr. Mohammed Hutram, the Head of the Library Department, Professor Dr. Essam Wasel, the Consultant of the Rector of the University for Legal, Financial and Administrative Affairs, Mr. Yahya Aldhumrani, the Assistant General Secartary for Financial Affairs, Mr. Mishaal Sharhan, the General Registrar, Mr. Abdulmalik Al-mualimi, the General Director of Media, Mr. Jamal Al-Bahri, and a number of Directors of Departments at the University.
