This achievement reflects the continuous development of the university's research and scientific publishing system and the growing presence of its journals in the Arab scientific evaluation and ranking system.

Professor Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Al-Haifi, the Rector of Thamar University, praised the efforts exerted by the scientific journals and their editorial boards, and their active role in raising the level of scientific publishing, enhancing the presence of the university's journals in scientific databases and indexes, and fulfilling the requirements for accreditation and scientific ranking.

He affirmed that the results achieved by four of the university's journals in the 2026 ARSIF report are indicative of their high scientific quality, academic rigor, editorial competence, and competitiveness in the field of Arabic scientific publishing. He commended the efforts of the editorial boards and teams, and their continuous commitment to improving performance and meeting quality standards and scientific accreditation requirements.

The results followed an evaluation process that included more than 5,650 titles of Arabic scientific and research journals published by more than 2,600 scientific and research institutions. Of these, 1,303 journals successfully met the ARSIF accreditation criteria for 2026.

The leadership of Thamar University extends its thanks and appreciation to the editorial boards of the scientific journals, researchers, reviewers, and all those working in the university's scientific research and publishing system. It affirms that these results represent a new milestone in the development process and an incentive to continue working towards higher rankings and a broader presence in Arab and international databases and indexes.
