Continued Field Monitoring of the Regularity of the Educational Process and Adherence to the University Calendar at Thamar University

■ Continuing the field monitoring of the educational process in the colleges of Thamar University, and in implementation of the directives of Professor Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Hassan Al-Haifi, the Rector of the University, regarding strengthening adherence to the university calendar and the ministerial circular regulating the educational process, Professor Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, the Vice-Rector of the University for Student Affairs, conducted a field visit this morning that included the Colleges of Education, Sharia and Law, and Computers and Information.

During the visit, the Vice-Rector reviewed the regularity of the educational process in the targeted colleges, the progress of lectures in the various departments and levels, and the extent of adherence to the approved study plans and schedules, ensuring the implementation of academic programs in accordance with the university calendar issued by the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research and approved by the relevant authorities at the university.

The visit also included monitoring the progress of courses and study plans, reviewing lecture and exam schedules, and assessing the level of preparedness for upcoming academic milestones. This aims to ensure the smooth continuation of studies and prevent any delays in course implementation.

Professor Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai emphasized the importance of full adherence to the university calendar, approved study plans and schedules, and the implementation of the ministerial circular regulating the educational process. He stressed the necessity of completing courses within the specified timeframes to guarantee the smooth operation of the educational process and the achievement of the desired academic goals.

He noted that these field visits reflect the commitment of the leadership of  Thamar University, represented by Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi, to the continuous monitoring of the various colleges and academic programs. This commitment also aims to strengthen institutional discipline and adherence to educational plans, which will positively impact the quality of academic performance and the level of educational outcomes.
