Intensified Field Monitoring of the Educational Process and Adherence to the University Calendar in Several Colleges at Thamar University

■ In response to the directives of Thamar University leadership, represented by Professor Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Hassan Al-Haifi, the University Rector, regarding monitoring adherence to the ministerial circular and the approved university calendar, Professor Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, conducted a field visit this morning to several university colleges, including the College of Medicine, the College of Medical Sciences, and the College of Administrative Sciences.

The visit aimed to monitor the progress of the educational process, review the implementation of lectures in various departments and levels, and verify the extent to which the completed coursework conformed to the timelines specified in the university calendar approved by the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research and endorsed by the Student Affairs Council and Thamar University Council.

The follow-up also included reviewing study plans, lecture and exam schedules, and preparations for the first semester final exams, ensuring the smooth running of the educational process and its adherence to the dates specified in the academic calendar.

During the visit, Professor Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai emphasized the necessity of full compliance with the course syllabi, the university calendar, and the approved schedules, as well as implementing the ministerial circular issued in this regard. He stressed that adherence to the academic plan is fundamental to ensuring the smooth running of the educational process and achieving high-quality academic performance across the university's various colleges.

He noted that the university leadership places great importance on monitoring the implementation of academic plans and programs to ensure the strengthening of discipline and institutional commitment, and the achievement of educational objectives in accordance with the regulations, bylaws, and the approved university calendar.
