Thamar University Launches Annual Activities and Events Commemorating the Prophet's Birthday 1448

■ Professor Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Hassan Al-Haifi, the Rector of Thamar University, chaired the expanded meeting this morning in the Martyr Al-Ghumari Hall to launch the annual mobilization, cultural, and sports activities, as well as the programs and events commemorating the Prophet's Birthday for the year 1448.

The meeting was attended by Professor Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, the Rector's Assistant for Centers Affairs, Dr. Mohammed Hutrum, the Genetal Secretary of the University, and a number of university leaders.

The meeting was also attended by the Vice Deans for Student Affairs, the General Secretaries of the faculties, the Directors of Student Affairs, the Activities Coordinators, and the Student Forum Coordinators from the various faculties of the university. This was part of the early preparation and coordination for implementing a comprehensive program of activities and events across the university.

At the outset of the meeting, the University Rector emphasized the importance of thorough preparation for student activities and cultural and awareness programs. He stressed that these initiatives contribute to developing students' awareness and strengthening their sense of belonging, faith, and national identity. He further emphasized the necessity of integrated efforts among the various sectors, colleges, and administrative units to ensure the success of these events and the achievement of their intended goals.

Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi noted that Thamar University is committed to making this occasion an educational and cultural milestone for instilling prophetic values ​​and Islamic ethics among students. From his part, Professor Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, the Vice-Rector of the University for Student Affairs, reviewed the Student Affairs Office and the Student Forum's annual activity plan and the program of events commemorating the Prophet's birthday. He explained that the plan includes a range of cultural, awareness, sports, and artistic activities, as well as competitions, seminars, and student events to be held in the university's various colleges. This aims to achieve broad student participation and foster a positive university environment.

The meeting discussed organizational aspects, implementation mechanisms, and ways to coordinate between the Student Affairs Office, the colleges, and the Student Forum.
