Dr. Al-Haifi Inspects Academic Affairs and Quality Assurance at Thamar University

■ The Rector of the University, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi, continues his inspection tours to improve academic performance and ensure quality, as he conducted a field visit today that included Academic Affairs, the Development and Quality Assurance Center, in addition to the General Secretariat and Financial Affairs.

 

During the visits, he was briefed on the progress of work and the challenges facing the educational process, stressing the importance of making more efforts to improve the conditions of faculty members.

 

In the meeting with the Vice-Rector of the University for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Adel Al-Ansi, the need plan and the comparison to select the competent competitors for seats in a number of colleges at the University were discussed and the Rector of the University stressed the need to adhere to high standards in selecting candidates.

 

During his visit, Dr. Al-Haifi also met with the Dean of the Development and Quality Assurance Center, Dr. Zaid Al-Hadour, where he reviewed the center's ongoing efforts to update and describe academic programs to ensure their compliance with the standard academic standards.

 

 Dr. Al-Haifi also met with the General Secretary of the University, Dr. Mohammed Hutram, and the General Director of Financial Affairs, Abdulghani Al-Hajji, where they discussed financial issues related to academic affairs and ways to manage educational programs at the University.

 

These visits come within the framework of the University leadership's keenness to develop the academic environment and enhance the quality of education in line with the aspirations of the political leadership and the needs of students and faculty members at the University.
