An expanded meeting of the Coordination Council of Universities and Institutes of Health and Technical and Vocational Education in Dhamar to support the Palestinian people

■ An important and expanded meeting of the Coordinating Council of Universities and Institutes of Health and Technical and Vocational Education was held today in Dhamar chaired by Prof. Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi, the Chairman of the Council and the Rector of Thamar University.

The meeting comes within the framework of discussing the important steps and procedures for organizing events and marches in support of the Palestinian people and the Al-Aqsa Flood operations which aim to stop the aggression and lift the blockade on the Ggaza Strip.

During the meeting, in the presence of the Rector of Al-Baydha University, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Arami, the Head of the Education and Culture Sector of the Presidency of the Republic Abdulsalam Al-Mutamiz, members of the Coordination Council, and Representatives of Higher Educational Institutions, a number of common topics were discussed, coordinating efforts to organize joint events, and hosting events at Thamar University.

It was agreed to organize a joint march next Tuesday in solidarity with Ghaza and the Palestinian people. The march will start from the gate of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences at Thamar University and will travel through a number of streets within the University Campus.

The meeting was attended by the Rector of Al-Saeeda University, the Vice-Rectors of Thamar University for Academic Affairs and student affairs, the Rector's Consultant for Automation and Cultural Affairs, the Deans of Al-Hikma and Guinness Universities, the General Director of Technical Training and Vocational Education, the Deans of the Commercial Institute, the Technical Institute and the Community College, the General Assistant Secretary of Guinness University, the General Director of Continuing Education in Al-Baydha, the Directors of Public Media and Public Relations at Thamar University, and a number of members of the University Student Forum.
