The University Council holds its fourth meeting at Alwihdah University Educational Hospital in Maabar

■  Thamar University Council held, today its fourth meeting for the academic year(2023-2024) under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Al-Haifi, the Rector of the University at Alwihdah University Teaching Hospital in Maabar City .

At the meeting, which began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatiha on the souls of the martyrs of the homeland and the martyrs of Palestine, the minutes of the previous Council were reviewed and approved.

In addition, the Council reviewed many topics on its agenda, including discussing the recommendation of the fourth Academic Council for the academic year 1445h(2024/2023) on settlements and promotions for Faculty Members and their Assistants.

The Council also discussed the recommendations of the Council of Higher Studies and Scientific Research contained in the minutes of its fourth meeting for the academic year 1445h(2024/2023) on the request for approval of a number of students' results, as well as the recommendations of the Student Affairs Council included in the minutes of its fourth meeting for the academic year 1445h (2024/2023) on the request for approval of a number of its decisions, including the proposed solutions for struggling students.

At the meeting, the Rector of the University confirmed that this meeting is the inauguration of the new year 2024, which began with the holding of the University Council meeting at one of the most important Institutions of the University, Alwihdah University Educational Hospital affiliated to the Faculty of Medicine at Thamar University which also benefits from the services of the Faculty of Medical Sciences and the Institute of Continuing Education and benefits from its therapeutic services all Academic and Administrative Staff of the University.
