Thamar University organizes a comprehensive hygiene campaign under the slogan"Cleanliness is a Civilized and Religious Manifestation".

■  Thamar University organized today a omprehensive hygiene campaign sponsored by Prof. Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Al-Haifi, the Rector of the University, in cooperation with the Hygiene Office in the Governorate and the participation of all Colleges, Institutes, Educational Centers affiliated with the University and the University Student Forum.

The campaign was organized under the slogan "Cleanliness is a Manifestation of Civilization and Faith" and coincided with the central campaign announced by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the campaign was held at Thamar University entitled "Al-Aqsa Flood".

The Rector of the University, his Deputy for Academic Affairs, the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and his Consultants, the General Secartary of the University, his Assistants, the University's Academic and Administrative Staff of all levels, and University Students participated in the campaign.

At the opening of the campaign, Dr. Al-Haifi expressed his thanks to the University Leaders and students, as well as workers and equipment drivers who came with their equipment belonging to the Hygiene Office in the Governorate.

He stressed that it is an honor for the University and its Staff to pay attention to cleanliness to make the University a clean and healthy place, where cleanliness should become a civilized daily behavior in our lives and our behavior inside the campus.

He added that it is an honor for the university to circulate this initiative to all Higher Educational Institutions in Yemen, and that we at Thamar University were the first to announce a comprehensive Hygiene Day on January 1, 2024.

The adoption of the initiative indicates the degree of positive flexibility of the leadership of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, its constructive interaction with the needs of Universities, aspirations, adoption of Model initiatives, and their dissemination at the level of Higher Educational Institutions in Yemen.

Dr. Al-Haifi also added that we have decided at the University to adopt a list for the University Campus based on the principle of cleanliness and decency, and we will distribute it to all Colleges, Institutes and Centers of Thamar University and we hope that the Ministry of Education will adopt the following list, because it has become necessary to confront the soft war targeting our sons and daughters students at universities.

This campaign reflects Thamar University's interest in hygiene and health in its institution and seeks to promote awareness of the importance of Hygiene and encourage it as a civilized daily behavior.
