The Rector of Thamar University Meets the Chairman of the Road Maintenance Board Thamar University Media/Jamal Al-Bahri / Jumad Akher 11, 1445. December 24, 2023 ■ The Rector of Thamar University, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Mohamed Hassan Al-Haifi, and his Deputy for Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, and the General Secretary of the University, Dr. Mohammed Hutram met today the Chairman of the Road Maintenance Management Board, Engineer Nabil Abdullah Mohammed Al-Haifi, and his Technical Consultant, Engineer Taha Mohammed Al-Mahbashi, and the General Manager of the General Organization for Roads and Bridges, Engineer Mohammed Abdulkarim Al-Madani, and Engineer Essam Al-Thaifani from the Road Maintenance Fund. The two sides discussed a number of topics of mutual interest related to road maintenance and asphalt layer renewal within the Western Campus of Thamar University. During the meeting, the Rector of the University expressed his great appreciation for the visit of the Chairman of the Board of Road Maintenance and his Companions and their interest in repairing the internal roads of the University, and expressed his appreciation for their noble feelings in seeking to provide a suitable Educational environment for University students and visitors. From his part, Engineer Nabil Al-Haifi expressed his happiness to visit Thamar University which is the second Yemeni University in terms of area, preparing students and associates and the first in terms of obtaining academic accreditation and thanked the Rector of the University for the hospitality and good reception. He stressed his readiness to cooperate with the University Presidency in meeting its needs and providing appropriate services to the University as soon as possible. In addition, the Rector of the University and his guests conducted a field tour on the main line connecting the University Presidency and the main gate of the University, during which the Chairman of the Road f Fund, the General Manager of the Branch of the Institution, Engineer Mohammed Al-Madani, directed the implementation to begin within the next few days.
