Thamar University Leaders Visit the Psychological Counseling Center at Sana'a University Thamar University Media/Jamal Al-Bahri / Jumad Awal 30, 1445. December 13, 2023 ■ Today Prof. Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Al-Haifi, the Rector of Thamar University along with Prof. Dr. Abdulkarim Zabibah, the Vice-Rector for Higher Studies and Scientific Research and the Head of the Psychological Counseling Center at Thamar University, accompanied by Prof. Dr. Khalid Al-Husseini, the Consultant of the Rector of the University for Automation Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Ali Mohammed Quradha, the Head of the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences, visited the Psychological Counseling Center at Sana'a University. They were received by Professor Dr. Abdulkhaliq Handa, the Deputy Dean of the Psychological Counseling Center at Sana'a University where the two parties reviewed the various activities at the center and highlighted the services provided by Sana'a University Center for Psychological Counseling and the important role it plays in supporting University students from a Psychological and Social point of view. The visit was an opportunity to review the means of joint cooperation between the Psychological Counseling Center of the two universities, where experiences and ideas were exchanged on the development of programs and initiatives for Psychological Care and Mental Health Promotion of students in the two Educational Institutions. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Al-Haifi expressed his admiration for the efforts exerted by the team at the Psychological Counseling Center, expressing Thamar University's readiness to strengthen the existing cooperation between the two Institutions in the future. From his part, Prof. Dr. Abdulkhaliq Handa expressed his happiness with the visit of the leadership team from Thamar University, stressing the importance of building fruitful partnerships between Public Universities to exchange experiences and cooperate in the development of Psychological Care for students. https://www.tu.edu.ye/page/view/1/2539
