The General Secartary of the University inspects a number of public departments at the University Thamar University Media / Jumad Awal 28, 1445. December 11, 2023 ■ In conjunction with the events of the maximum flood, as directed by Dr. Mohammed Hutram, the General Secartary of Thamar University inspected today a number of the University's General Departments, the Secretariats of the Faculties, the Procedures for Preparing for a new round of events, and solidarity activities with Palestine within the awareness and Education work undertaken by the University. During the visit, the General Secartary and his Entourage toured the Department of Financial and Administrative Affairs, Quality, Libraries, and visited a number of event halls and training halls that will be dedicated to holding solidarity events with Palestine, in addition to a number of general departments in the Vice of Student Affairs, Higher Studies and Scientific Research and Academic Affairs. In addition, the General Secartary of the University and his Accompanying Delegation visited the Office of the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai where the two parties discussed a number of issues of mutual interest in the financial and administrative fields. The visit also included a number of Colleges, including the Faculty of Medical Sciences, Applied Sciences, Continuing Education, Engineering, and computers, accompanied by his accompanying delegation and during the visit he thanked the committed Administration and blamed the non-committed. He also noted the need to take strict measures and change the method of calculating time at the University. He also directed his assistants to popularize the use of electronic fingerprinting, provide fingerprinting devices to departments that still need them and connect them to the University's computer system and automation system. With regard to the cafeteria, the General Secartary and his Accompanying Delegation visited it, inspected the level of cleanliness, adherence to sanitary procedures, and directed that more safety measures should be adhered to, such as the wearing of masks, cuffs, and hair caps by all employees in the cafeteria. Finally, the General Secartary and his Accompanying Delegation visited the University Libraries, reviewed the process of rearranging them, and the updates made by the new administration and directed the need to inventory existing books, identify needs, and develop the Central Library and Specialized Libraries in Colleges. This inspection tour reflects the General Secartary's commitment to enhancing the quality of education and administration at Thamar University and striving to develop a distinguished academic and administrative environment.
