Honoring the Families of Martyrs and Opening the Exhibition of Martyrs of the University Employees Thamar University Media/ Saqr Abu Hassan / Jumad Awal 19, 1445. December 2, 2023 ■ Sponsored by Prof. Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi, the Rector of Thamar University on the occasion of the anniversary of the martyr 1445, Thamar University and the University Student Forum organized today an event honoring the families of martyrs, the opening of the University martyrs exhibition, and the Flood of Al-Aqsa. During the event hosted by Palestine Hall, the Rector of the University stressed the importance of commemorating the anniversary of the martyr which embodies the heroism of the great martyrs. He said that one of the great signs of remembrance is recalling the sacrifices of the martyrs and continuing to follow their approach in confronting the forces of global tyranny and cleansing the homeland of mercenaries. He pointed out that the commemoration of the martyr this year and great heroics have been achieved on various fronts, calling for visiting the martyrs 'Kindergartens" to Remember the Great Positions of the Martyrs". He also added that there is no purer and greater than offering the soul for the sake of Allah, because martyrdom raises the degrees of faith and names them, and the martyr is the one who sacrificed for the homeland, pride and dignity. Dr. Al-Haifi pointed out that the importance of using this occasion to enhance the spirit of giving and continuing steadfastness until achieving victory. During his speech, he referred to the provision of a "fFinancial Gift" to the families of martyrs from the University's employees, as an expression of loyalty to the martyrs. The Chairman of the University forum at Thamar University, " Ezz Al-Deen Al-Wainani," touched during his speech on the great contribution made by the martyrs for the sake of the pride and dignity of Yemen, stressing that the certificate is a divine grant that only the Great can receive. He said that the great martyrs are a school from which we learn sincere faith, we learn patience, fortitude, sincerity of attitudes and sacrifice for the sake of Allah. He pointed out that the event, which the University used to organize annually, " Cannot give the Great Martyrs their Right," but it tries to draw inspiration from the great lessons left by the martyrs in the hearts of the community. The martyrs were, and still are the building blocks of a great project. He also said that today the blood of the martyrs is making an impenetrable dam in the Red Sea to prevent the fleets of America and Israel from passing in the Red Sea. The speech of the Martyrs' Families was delivered by Dr. Yahya Al-Mawshki, during which he thanked Thamar University and all those who contributed promising to this event which has an impact on the souls of the martyrs' families. He stressed that the great martyrs are those who set out in faith, closed the doors to personal interests, and raised the banner of God on various fronts. He added we pledge the martyrs to follow their path until the liberation of Yemen and also authorize the commander with any option to strike the enemy of Islam and Muslims is Israel, we are your soldiers and ready at any time. The poet Saleh Al-Joufi delivered a poetic poem and the marching Cubs band performed a chant to the acclaim of those present and after the concert program, the families of the martyrs from the University's employees were honored.
