The Faculty Medicine and Alwihdah University Hospital hold a Solidarity Vigil with Palestine Thamar University Media / Jamal Al-Bahri / October 22, 2023 ■ The president of Thamar University, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi participated today in a stand of solidarity with Palestine and in support of the Al-Aqsa Flood Operation organized by the Faculty of Medicine at Thamar University on the Campus of Alwihdah University Hospital in Maabar City to denounce Zionist crimes against Gaza Strip. The Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai thanked the leadership of the Faculty of Medicine and the leadership of Alwihdah University Hospital for organizing this vigil. In his speech on behalf of the Rector of the University, he referred to the importance of Jihad in the face of Zionist and American aggression and stressed that Allah is the only way to liberate our peoples and make the region and the world a better place to live in safety and dignity. He also pointed to the importance of organizing solidarity events with the people of Palestine and stressed the need for absolute solidarity with Gaza and support for the Al-Aqsa Flood Operation for its strengthening of the brotherly spirit between the Yemeni and Palestinian people. The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr.Amtalkhaliq Mihrass welcomes the Rector of the University and his Entourage and expresses her thanks to the presence of Faculty members, staff, students at the Faculty of Medicine, leaders and cadres of Alwihdah University Hospital and for their great interest in the cause of the Arab and Islamic nation and the cause of Palestine. The Dean of the Faculty stressed the need to condemn the Zionist aggression on Gaza in general and medical facilities in particular, stressing that these acts are considered war crimes and contrary to all humanitarian charters and heavenly laws. During the vigil, speeches were also delivered denouncing the Zionist aggression on Gaza delivered by the Mobilization Official in the region and a number of students, and a number of solidarity Poems From Palestine were read which were admired by those present.
