The Academic Accreditation Team of the Medicine and Surgery Program concludes its visit schedule to the University with a number of recommendations. Thamar University media / Jamal Al-Bahri / August 23, 2023 ■The Academic Accreditation Team of the Medicine and Surgery Program concluded today the agenda of its evaluation visit with a meeting with the University Leadership. At the meeting that was chaired by the Rector of the University Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi and attended by a number of the University leadership, they listened to the final recommendations of the evaluation team of the Academic Accreditation Program for Medicine and Surgery at Thamar University. The Head of the Team praised the efforts of the leadership of Thamar University, The Head of the Academic Accreditation Center, Dr. Zaid Al-Hudor, and The Coordinator of the visit, Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Haifi, to facilitate the work of the committee and the requirements of the program. He said that Thamar University is on the right track and it should develop its strengths, which are many, including maintaining the absorption capacity, and the distinguished teaching staff in Medicine and Surgery in a way that gives reassuring for the future of teaching Medicine and Surgery at the University. The Head of the Evaluation Team referred to the need for fixing the weaknesses and address the shortcomings in documentation, as many of the achievements and positive steps attributed to the University have not been documented.
