In his speech, Th Minister of Higher Education Mr. Hussein praised the efforts of Thamar University all over the Ministry and the Government, pointing out that the University and the Political leadership have reconciled with Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi, who will push the university forward and return its luster and glow. He added that we cannot say that Thamar University comes after Sana'a University, we consider it parallel to Sana'a University in all fields, and Thamar University is candidate to be one of the Universities that will get the accreditation to reflect the beautiful face of Higher Education. The Minister blessed the harmony of the University leadership with the leadership of the Local Authority in the governorate, hoping from the Governor of Dhamar City to support him and support the University. He said that we assure the Minister that we and the University are in harmony, and we all need to cooperate with the Rector of the University at these circumstances, because our goal is to improve the Educational process, and we are on the way of declaring an Industrial Area, including a Technology Free Area, and Thamar University will have an imprint in this aspect, because we need Academic and Experience knowledge in this aspect, and we support coordination between the Governorate and the University in all cultural works. Then The Rector of the University Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi, praised the attention of the Minister of Higher Education, and the Governor of Dhamar for Thamar University. Hence, he said that We assure the Governor that Thamar University with its staff is ready to adopt all Governorate projects in all Social, Medical, Administrative or Engineering Specialties, noting that a number of Governorate Projects are graduation projects for students from our colleges, and we have an Economic Consulting Center to support them consultation, training and rehabilitation, and we consider this as a contribution from Thamar University towards its community. Dr. Al-Haifi added that our goal is to bring the various colleges to the campus, and this goal needs time and funding to implement it, and the University has projects that need simple amounts such as completing the College of Computer Science building. He points out that the University is preparing to announce the board of trustees at Thamar University with the membership of traders, investors and leaders of the Local Authority in the Governorate, and we are ready to provide them with opportunities and give them full scope to take their rest and get benefit from their contributions. The meeting included interventions by the Vice-Rectors of the University, The Head of the Faculty Members Union and their assistants, and The General Secartary of the Academic Accreditation Council, which touched refers to the importance of supporting the University by the Ministry of Higher Education and the leadership of the Local Authority in the Governorate.
