The University of Thamar represented by the president of the University Dr. Talib Taher Al-Nahari joint cooperation agreement with Al-Razi Private University represented by the president of the University Dr. Khalil Al-Wajeeh, in order to coordinate cooperation in the fields of academic and scientific research, training, and support development and cultural programs. 

 

President of Thamar University Dr. Talib Taher Al-Nahari said that the agreement guarantees the joint publication of a scientific journal and the formation of its editorial staff, the conduct of joint basic and applied scientific researches in topics of common interest, the joint contribution in scientific researches with other parts, in addition to the cooperation in the fields of achievement of manuscripts, authorship, translation, scientific publication to get benefits from libraries, research centers , laboratories that are available for both parts , exchange of books , prints and handbills annually or termly. 

 

The President of the University pointed out that the agreement seeks to create fruitful cooperation between Thamar University and Al-Razi Private University, including the opening of joint programs for Postgraduate Studies (Diploma of Postgraduate Studies, Master and PHD) in various disciplines accredited by both parts and encouraging joint scientific supervision of Master's and doctoral dissertations.

 

In the fields of cooperation in academic affairs, the President of the University stressed out that the agreement provided for cooperation in the preparation of educational programs, exchange of study plans, curriculum methods of University the systems of teaching, regulations and provisions, exchange of educational materials that will help to develop the educational process, as well as cooperation in the development of e-learning and distance learning programs.

 

The signing of the agreement was attended by Dr. Adel Alansi, The Vice-President of Thamar University for Academic Affairs, Dr. Marwan Al-Baadani, The Head of Geology Department at the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Dr. Ahmed Yafaa, The President of The Academic Union of Thamar University and  Fahmy Al-Shami The office manager of the President of Thamar University.
