The Rector of Thamar University Inspects Preparations for Opening Modern Laboratories at the Faculty of Computer Science and Informatics

■ Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi, the Rector of Thamar University, inspected the academic and technical readiness of the Faculty of Computer Science and Informatics, as well as the ongoing preparations to develop its educational and applied infrastructure. This inspection took place during a visit he conducted as part of the university's field visit program to its faculties following Eid Al-Adha holiday.

The University Rector was accompanied during the visit by Professor Dr. Essam Wasel, the Rector's Assistant for Centers Affairs, Dr. Mohammed Hutrum, the General Secretary of the University, Jamal Al-Bahri, the Head of Media and Public Relations Department, and a number of university leaders and staff.

They were received by the Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science and Informatics, Professor Dr. Bashir Al-Maqaleh, the General Secretary of the Faculty, Bandar Al-Duhmli, and a number of academic and administrative leaders, faculty members and staff.

The University Rector listened to a presentation on the Faculty's preparations for the new academic year and the plans aimed at developing the educational and applied environment. He also reviewed the technical preparations for the opening of the Mechatronics Laboratory, which represents a significant addition to the Faculty's educational and training infrastructure.
