The College of computing celebrates the graduation 14 students from the Department of Information Technology. Thamar University Media / August 24, 2023 ■Sponsored by the Rector of the University Dr. Mohammed Alhaifi, the Faculty of computers and Informatics organized today the graduation ceremony of the 14th batch of Information Technology graduates for the year 2023/2022. At the ceremony, which was attended by the Vice-Rector of the University for Academic Affairs Dr. Adel Alansi, Dr. Abdulkafi Alrifai, The Vice Rector of the University of the Student Affairs, welcomed the attendees and congratulated the graduates and the leadership of the Faculty of Computing on this great ceremony and said that today you are picking the fruits of years of hard work, patience and perseverance. He added that you and your predecessors have raised the name of Thamar University Highly, you have proved in Word and deed that it is the first University in the country, and that the large and increasing turnout for the College, which we witnessed a few days ago in the Placement Test, and what we are witnessing today, from these large numbers of graduates, clearly indicates a bright future for Yemen's youth in the field of Information Technology (IT) and it is a pride for Thamar University that it was the forerunner and today it is the leader in this field all over the country. Moreover, Dr.Bashir Almaqaleh, The Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Informatics, expressed his gratitude to the Rector of the University for sponsoring this ceremony and his interest in the college. He thanked those who present and blessed the graduates, and recalled the exploits and achievements of the Former Deans of the Faculty of Computing. The ceremony was attended by Abdulhameed Alqawsi, a member of Alshura Council, Ahmed Aldurani, a Deputy Governor of the governorate, Dr. Fuaad Hassan Abdulrazzaq, an Executive Director of the Information Center at the Ministry of Higher Education, Ahmed Alahsab, The Head of the Technical office at the Ministry of Higher Education, Hassan Almawshki, a consultant to the Rector of the University for Cultural Affairs, and Dr. Amal Al-mujahid, The Dean of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, and Dr.Adel Emran, The Dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences, The Assistant General Secartary Meshaal Sharhan, and The General Secartary of the college.
