The Vice Rector of the University inspects the progress of the Placement Test for Information Technology Students (Parallel System) Thamar University Media / Jamal Al-Bahri / September 4, 2023 ■ Today, Prof. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, Vice Rector of the University for Student Affairs, inspected the Placement Test halls at the Department of Information Technology (Parallel System) at the Faculty of Computers and Informatics, along with Dr. Bashir Al-Maqaleh the Dean of the Faculty. During their visit to the test halls, the Vice-Rector of the University gave his advice and guidance to students on the test, urging them to focus and use the appropriate means to fill out the answer sheets, and confirmed that the process of correcting the answer sheets will be done in an automated manner.Dr. Al-Rifai also expressed thanks and appreciation to the working team in the Information Technology Department and the College of Computing for their sincere efforts in providing a suitable atmosphere for tests, and a suitable and advanced Educational environment for students enrolled in various departments of the college, expressing his optimism for the future of this specialty and its distinguished students. He stressed that Thamar University will continue to develop and improve its Academic Programs and provide a distinguished Educational environment for its students in various disciplines, starting with the field of Computer and Information Systems. The dean of the College pointed out that the Information Technology Department provides modern and advanced programs and curriculum aimed at providing students with the skills and knowledge necessary to keep up with modern technology and meet the needs of the labor market in the field of Information Technology, both inside Yemen and in the otherCountries. He added that this specialty requires students to be serious and diligent in studying scientific and technical subjects, as the field is developing rapidly and needs qualified specialists.
