Thamar University Launches Discussions of 100 Graduation Projects for Students from Computer and Informatics Center

■ At the College of Computers and Informatics, Thamar University launched the discussion of graduation projects for 100 students from the Computer and Informatics Center for the academic year 2024/2025.
The event was held under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi, the Rector of Thamar University, and his Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai.
The event was attended by a select group of university leaders and faculty members, as well as parents and a number of guests interested in technical and academic fields.The discussions also were launched with broad participation from students from the Graphics and Networks departments.
There were (18) projects taht were presented by students from the Graphics Department, along with (4) projects by students from the Networks Department.
All of these projects reflected the academic and technical progress achieved by students during their years of study and their ability to transform theoretical knowledge into promising practical applications.
The event was also attended by Dr. Mohammed Hutram, the General Secretary of the University, his Assistant for Financial Affairs, Mr. Mishaal Sharhan, and Mr. Ahmed Rabid, the General Secretary of the Computer and Informatics Center.
Professor Dr. Bashir Al-Maqaleh, the Dean of the College of Computers and Informatics and the Director of the Center, chaired the discussion committee with the participation of department heads and a number of faculty members from the Center.
They evaluated the projects based on precise academic criteria, including creativity, innovation, methodological integration and the extent to which the projects fit the needs of the labor market.
The presence of a number of parents and those who are interested in the technology field added a festive atmosphere to the event, reflecting the importance of applied education in community development.
Discussions of the graduation projects are scheduled to continue until the end of the week.
