■ In a high-level field visit, Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi, the Rector of Thamar University, accompanied by Professor Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, inaugurated the second semester exams for the academic year 1447 at the Faculty of Computer Science and Informatics.
This academic step reflects the organizational readiness and institutional discipline. They were received by the Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science and Informatics, Professor Dr. Bashir Al-Maqaleh, the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Dr. Khalid Al-Husseini, and the General Secretary of the Faculty, Bandar Al-Duhmli, in the presence of several faculty and administrative staff members.
The visit included an inspection tour of the examination halls to observe the organizational mechanisms, the distribution of invigilators and the arrangements for services that ensure a stable examination environment for students.
During the tour, the University's Rector expressed his satisfaction with the discipline and organization he witnessed, reflecting the dedication of the college's leadership and its academic and administrative staff. He emphasized that the College of Computer Science and Informatics stands out as a model of preparedness and effective examination management.
In a direct address to students in several halls, the Rector of Thamar University urged them to redouble their efforts, focus on the academic material, and approach the exams with a high degree of responsibility and confidence. He also stressed the importance of adhering to the established instructions and regulations, and of considering the exams as a key indicator of the academic and professional development students have acquired throughout the semester.
The Rector of the Unversity also affirmed the university's commitment to ongoing monitoring of the examination process across all colleges, ensuring that any obstacles encountered by students or examination committees are addressed promptly. This commitment aims to guarantee a transparent and competitive environment that enhances the quality of educational outcomes.
From his part, the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs commended the technical and organizational arrangements made by the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Informatics, including the preparation of the halls, the deployment of proctors, and the organization of exam schedules according to standards that ensure fairness and consideration for student density.
