Thamar University Launches Second Semester Exams for the College of Computer Science and Informatics

■ Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi, the Rector of Thamar University, and his Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, launched the second semester exams for the College of Computer Science and Informatics for 1,364 students from all academic levels are taking the exams.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Bashir Al-Maqalih, and his two Deputies, Dr. Khalid Al-Hussaini, as well as the General Secretary of the College and a number of administrative staff from the College and the University.

The inauguration event included an inspection tour of the exam halls, during which the University Rector ensured that the exam process was proceeding in accordance with academic regulations and that the necessary technical equipment was available, particularly in applied specializations related to computer science and information technology.

The University Rector emphasized that these exams are a part of the university's commitment to comprehensive quality standards and its pioneering role in graduating qualified graduates capable of keeping pace with the demands of the digital revolution, both locally and globally.

It's worth noting that the College of Computer Science and Informatics at Thamar University is the first college in the field of computing and informatics nationwide. It is also one of the leading colleges in Yemen, contributing to bridging the gap between higher education outcomes and labor market needs through its diverse programs that address emerging specializations in the digital field.
