Yemen Mobile provides Thamar University with the first batch of cybersecurity hall equipment

■ Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi, the Rector of Thamar University, accompanied by his Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, and the General Secretary of the University, Dr. Mohammed Hutram, inspected today the cybersecurity halls in the College of Computers and Informatics, during the ceremony of handing over the first batch of equipment provided by the National Telecommunications Company "Yemen Mobile".
The Rector of the University was received by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Bashir Al-Maqalih, and the General Secretary of the College, Bandar Al-Duhmali, where the first batch of cybersecurity equipment was received and installed, in the presence of the General Director-General of Financial Affairs, Abdulghani Al-Hajjaji, and the General Director of Public Relations, Khalid Al-Ashawi, in addition to a number of academic and administrative leaders at the university and faculty members at the college.
The event also witnessed the delivery of 20 new computers Equipped with the highest technical specifications, in addition to dedicated tables and chairs, as part of an initiative launched by Yemen Mobile to support the college's technological infrastructure and raise the efficiency of academic education in the field of cybersecurity and communications.
From his part, the University Rector praised during the tour the positive role of the college and the company in technologically empowering students of the Cybersecurity Department under establishment at the College of Computers and Informatics at the university by providing an advanced educational environment, saying, "This equipment will be the nucleus of a distinguished department in cybersecurity, contributing to the graduation of cadres capable of facing digital challenges and protecting the national cyberspace."
He also noted that the partnership with the private sector is a fundamental pillar in the university's plan to enhance the applied aspect of academic programs through community partnership.
