Thamar University Discusses Academic Performance Improvement and Preparations for the New Year at the College of Applied Sciences

■ As a part of his efforts to enhance the educational process and raise the level of academic performance, the Rector of Thamar University, Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi, held an expanded meeting today at the College of Applied Sciences.

The meeting was attended by the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Professor Dr. Adel Al-Ansi, the Dean of the College, Dr. Abdulqawi Dabwan, the General Secretary of the University, Dr. Mohammed Hutram; and a number of Vice Deans, Department Heads and the General Secretary of  the College.

During the meeting, the Rector of the University emphasized the need for academic and administrative staff to fully fulfill their duties, with a focus on achieving the highest levels of professional discipline, which will contribute to improving the overall performance of the College.

He also emphasized the importance of improving the quality of education at the undergraduate and graduate levels which will positively impact the College's outcomes and academic proficiency.

The meeting, which is a part of a series of  meetings organized by the University to monitor the colleges' readiness for the new academic year 1447, also addressed the challenges the college faced during the current academic year.
