Cultural Event at the Faculty of Applied Sciences at Thamar University in support of the Al-Aqsa Flood Currency Thamar University Media/jamal albahri/ November 12, 2023, Rabi Al-Thani 28, 1445 The College of Applied Sciences was established under the auspices of Pro. Dr.Mohammed Al-Haifi, the president of Thamar University, held a cultural event entitled Al-Aqsa Flood at the Faculty's Headquarters on Campus, in cooperation with the University Student Forum. At the event, which opened with verses of Al-Thiker Al-Hakim and the Yemeni and Palestinian Anthems, the President of the University praised the attendees and spoke about the importance of linking the Palestinian Cause and expressed disappointment with the Arab-Islamic Summit held on Saturday in the Saudi city of Jeddah, considering it disappointing and does not meet the requirements and demands of the peoples and does not express pride and dignity. He also referred to the steadfastness of Mujahideen in Gaza and the bright images they display of pride and steadfastness in leading the resistance operations of the Zionist entity on behalf of the nation. Dr. Fahmy Al-Absi, the Dean of the Faculty of Applied Sciences, pointed out the importance of holding a cultural event and showing support for Palestine and the Al-Aqsa Flood operation. From his part, Mr. Zaid Al-Mawshki noted some misconceptions in identifying the enemy. As Muslims, our enemy is known and determined by Allah, he added that and touched upon that the external enemy moves only under the signals of the internal enemy The external enemy represented by the disbelievers is the affection and kinship of the internal enemy, represented by the hypocrites, so that Allah has described them as brothers of the disbelievers, and they are the ones we always find with the enemy in the forefront of conspirators against the Arab and Islamic nation. It is not surprising that Allah has called them the enemy. The Director of the Guidance Office in the Governorate also pointed out the importance of shouting as one of the types of Jihad and it is a possible verbal weapon available to everyone, not needing a kit or equipment, but Faith and surrender pointing out that Allah has ordered us to curse the disbelievers, hypocrites and innocent of them. The event was attended by the General Secartary of the University, Dr. Mohammad Hutram, the Cultural Consultant of the Rector of the University, Mr. Hassan Al-Mawshki, a number of Academics, General Managers of the University, the College Secretary, and a group of college students.
